Happy Memorial Day From The Team At DPRINT

Memorial Day

Memorial Day is often viewed as the unofficial beginning of summer, a day for scoring retail sales, and as the first day of barbecue season. Memorial Day, though, has a much more significant and momentous meaning. It was established as a day to remember the men and women who lost their lives in the military service of our armed forces. Observed annually on the last Monday of May, this holiday pays tribute to all branches of US armed services.

At DPRINT, we support the military men and women who make up to armed forces of the United States. We also proudly design and create the decals for NASA.  We’ve been a pioneering contractor to NASA since the space shuttle program began over 30 years ago. Though the shuttle no longer flies, DPRINT continues to make many decals for NASA including their famous “meatball” logo as well as Expedition, International Space Station and Joint-Partner mission decals.

With over 60 industry awards for innovation, quality, and creativity, we’re honored to serve as the screen printer for NASA, and as an SBA WOSB (Woman Owned Small Business) entity. Although we serve a global clientele, our products are made entirely in the USA in our environmentally responsible, Florida-based facility. We’re listed on SAM.gov and are a top supplier to federal, state and local governments.

We take pride in being volunteers and donors in our local community where we operate as an ethical, responsible, diverse employer. We actively hire a diverse team of skilled, talented artisans and put them to work in our SGP green-certified facility. Our commitment to our veterans is reflected in the causes we support and the team we employ. We believe it’s important to give back. That’s why we invite you to join us and do few simple things to honor the memories and legacies of our fallen military heroes.

  • As an outward sign of commemorating Memorial Day, your business can fly an American flag.
(click here for detailed instructions on the proper way to fly the flag on Memorial Day)
  • Your business can dedicate its social media channels to Memorial Day commemorations by posting images and by sharing the stories of individual military men and women.
  • Establish a visible presence that honors military families by sponsoring, attending, and participating in community-based Memorial Day celebrations and parades.
  • Actively participate in Veteran’s outreach. Volunteer – and encourage your employees to do the same – at a Veteran’s hospital or other charitable organization.
  • Get to know your employees on a personal level by encouraging them to share stories of their family and friends who gave their lives in service to our country.

On Memorial Day 2018, do more than offer sales, discounts, and special promotions. Take time to honor the courage and conviction of the fallen heroes who allow us to enjoy the freedom of being Americans.
